Hi. My name is Anant Naik.

I am a designer based in Goa, India.I am a recent Transportation Design graduate, having experience particularly in commercial vehicle design covering a wide range of design from Automotive Exterior & Interior Design, Animation, CGI & 3D.

This site is an outlet for my hobby for creative side projects. I mainly focus on automotive concepts along with a healthy dose of sci fi.I started my career in Eka Mobilty as a summer intern working on sponsored projects as well as helping the design team with creative visuals.I have also done freelancing as a 3D animator for Fittrip Cycles, India.In Bangalore, India, I worked for a startup called Tresa Motors helping on everything from exterior design to 3D Visualization. Mercedes LH

Mercedes LH was a collaborative project with my dear friend and Senior Colleague Parth Sharma who had made the original sketch as a tribute to Lewis Hamilton.The main architecture here is a modern yet traditional take on Japanese dojos. Many assets are from Quixel Megascans and light modelling. Many other environments were tried however, I found this to be the most fitting to show the many curves and surfaces of concept as well as to make a spiritual link. Like Japanese dojos which look stunning and yet train the best of the best of martial artists, the LH concept captures the eye with its sleek and voluminous curves, which hide the powerful powerplant and chassis underneath.As my first introduction to color grading, I wanted to achieve a dramatic feel for the shots as well as slightly higher contrast to bring out the surface differentiations.

FLYNN CAR

Originally a quick doodle which turned into a week long project inspired by my time playing Cyberpunk 2077.I had never really done much with environments before this and thought this was the perfect project to try it out, Dungy, smoke filled cities full of buildings lined with holographic screens.Besides the renders, I also wanted to do an animation showcasing an interior concept idea for such a vehicle.
